Here you can read more about that and about other historical Swedish Periodicals for Women from the 19th century and the turn of the century 1900.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of this website is for the KvinnSam, to make available Historical Swedish periodicals for women and its history. In the <strong>History section<\/strong> you can read about the emergence of publications for women in Europe and above all in Sweden. Starting from the 18th century with the so-called Fruntimmerstidskrifterna (Ladie&#8217;s magazines) up until the 19th and 20th centuries women&#8217;s periodicals. The <strong>Biographies <\/strong>section portrays prominent women (and some men) who worked with the press. Both writers and editors are presented here.<\/p>\n<p>The portal is part of our project to give an historical account of the Swedish women\u2019s movement.
