Of particular interest would be papers concerning post-Ottoman Empire, especially the post-World War II era. <\/p>\n<p>Currently, one paper looks at American YWCA workers and their role in bringing &#8222;modernity&#8220; to the emerging Turkish nation in the 1920s and 1930s; the second paper examines post-World War II consumption and advertisements using the veil and\/or its concepts.\u201d<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Please contact Annessa with questions (annessababic@gmail.com).
