In anticipation of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, the conference is designed to highlight critical perspectives on football (soccer) from national, regional and international perspectives.<\/p>\n<p>Please submit a 200-word paper proposal and one-page CV by <strong>15 July 2009<\/strong> to socfoot@yorku.ca; questions about the conference can also be sent to this address.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; &#8211; &#8211;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Appel de communication pour le colloque \u00abPerspective internationale sur le football: histoire, genre et nation\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vous \u00eates invit\u00e9 \u00e0 soumettre une proposition de communication pour <!--more-->le colloque qui aura lieu \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 York de Toronto, du 3 au 5 d\u00e9cembre 2009. Les organisateurs souhaitent recevoir des projets de communication traitant de l\u2019un des th\u00e8mes suivants : nationalisme, internationalisme, \u00e9conomie, migration ainsi que les rapports de genre et ethnique. Ces projets de communication peuvent traiter ces th\u00e8mes dans une perspective historique ou contemporaine. Ce colloque est organis\u00e9 \u00e0 la veille de la coupe mondiale de football qui aura lieu en Afrique du Sud en 2010.
