Ihr gemeinsam verfasstes Buch &#8222;Reading Autobiography: A Guide for Interpreting Life Narratives&#8220; (2001; 2010) hat sich als grundlegende Pflichtlekt\u00fcre f\u00fcr die Analyse autobiographischer Erz\u00e4hlungen erwiesen.<br \/>\nIm Rahmen des Workshops werden Sidonie Smith und Julia Watson <!--more-->mit den Teilnehmer\/innen \u00fcber die Schnittstellen zwischen biographischem und autobiographischem Schreiben sowie \u00fcber die gesellschaftspolitische Relevanz von Life Writing sprechen.<br \/>\nDer Workshop wird auf Englisch gehalten; Fragen und Diskussionsbeitr\u00e4ge auf Deutsch sind ebenfalls willkommen.<br \/>\nZur vorbereitenden Lekt\u00fcre empfehlen die Veranstalterinnen den Text \u201eLife Narrative: Definitions and Distinctions&#8220;, das erste Kapitel aus Reading Autobiography (dieser wird auf Anfrage zugeschickt).
