Although there is an emphasis on U.S. women&#8217;s history, our goal is for the blog to be international in scope. Some of the types of sources that the blog covers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New exhibits in archives, libraries, and museums<\/li>\n<li>New digital collections (artifacts, diaries, oral histories, photos, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Featured objects\/documents from other blogs and websites<\/li>\n<li>&#8222;In the News&#8220; &#8211; stories that feature original documents or artifacts.<\/li>\n<li>&#8222;On this Day&#8220; &#8211; digital resources that are related to an event on a specific date.<\/li>\n<li>Recent books that include letters, diaries, photographs, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Audience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Archivists, Librarians, and Museum curators\/personnel<\/li>\n<li>Historians<\/li>\n<li>College students<\/li>\n<li>K-12 Teachers<\/li>\n<li>General public with an interest in women&#8217;s history<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Geographic Coverage<\/strong><br \/>\nAlthough the initial emphasis has been on women in United States history, the blog will become international in scope as the list of contributors grows.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contributors<\/strong><br \/>\nThe blog will include archivists, historians, librarians, and museum professionals.<\/p>\n<p>There are 4 ways to contribute to the blog:<br \/>\n1) Become a &#8222;Contributor.&#8220; All that you need is a Google account. The current group of 19 contributors includes a good mix of archivists, historians, curators, and librarians. However, at least a few more historians would be great.
