The models available to us see the sexual body through the figure of desire and choice, and the reproductive body through the figure of labor\/(re)production and exploitation. In her lecture S. Charusheela asks in which our understandings of both desire and labor would need to be changed to overcome this problematic split that forces us to oscillate between languages of choice and languages of exploitation.<!--more--><br \/>\nS. Charusheela problematisiert in ihrem Vortrag die theoretische Abspaltung eines begehrenden\/sexuellen weiblichen K\u00f6rpers, der frei w\u00e4hlen kann, von einem arbeitenden\/reproduktiven K\u00f6rper, der ausgebeutet wird. Sie diskutiert M\u00f6glichkeiten, unser Verst\u00e4ndnis von Begehren und Arbeit zu \u00e4ndern, um diesen problematischen Dualismus zu \u00fcberwinden.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vortrag in Englisch; bei Bedarf Fl\u00fcster\u00fcbersetzung<\/li>\n<li>Moderation: <strong>Karin Sch\u00f6npflug<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Im Anschluss Erfrischungen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>S. Charusheela ist Professorin am Department of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences der Universit\u00e4t Washington in Bothell. Sie lehrt und forscht zu postkolonialer Theorie, queerer Theorie, Marxismus und Feminismus.<br \/>\nKarin Sch\u00f6npflug lehrt und forscht im Bereich feministischer \u00d6konomie und postkolonialer Kritik.<br \/>\nWeiters findet mit S.
