In cooperation with Linköping university GEXcel (Gendering EXcellence – GEXcel: Towards a European Center of Gender Excellence in Transnational and Transdisciplinary Studies of Changing Gender Relations, Intersectionalities and Embodiment“) invites you to its first seminar spanning „Gender, Sexuality and Global Change“. GEXcels activieties, led by Anna G. Jonasdottir during autumn term 2007 and spring term 2008 officially start with a full day seminar on October 17th.
Örebro universitet har tillsammans med Linköpings universitet beviljats excellensmedel 2007-2010 från Vetenskapsrådet för att utveckla ett excellenscenter: „Gendering EXcellence – GEXcel: Towards a European Centre of Gender Excellence in Transnational and Transdisciplinary Studies of Changing Gender Relations, Intersectionalities and Embodiment“.
GEXcel är i första hand ett gästforskarprogram uppbyggt kring olika forskningsteman. Aktiviteterna inom det första temat, „Gender, Sexuality and Global Change“ (lett av professor Anna G. Jónasdóttir), pågår hösten 2007 och våren 2008. GEXcel vid Örebro universitet/tema 1 startar officiellt med ett heldagsseminarium 17 oktober.
