I am soliciting abstracts for a 5000-7500 word essay on the impact of McCarthyism and the Cold War on women in the U.S. from the late 1940s through about 1960. The essay will be included in a volume on the social history of the McCarthy and Cold War period, to be published by ABC-Clio.
