Historian Amanda Walter from the Towson University in Maryland (Web) is currently completing a panel on gender and labor for the Labor and Working-Class History Association conference. While the two papers in the panel are focused on the mid- to late-twentieth-century United States, other regions and time periods would be considered. She is looking for one additional paper and a chair/commentator.
The current papers are:
- Amanda Walter: Discouraging the Office Wolf: The Delayed Campaign Priorities of the Working Women’s Movement
- Daniel Gilbert: Performing the Family Farm: Gender and Labor on Stage at Farm Aid
