KvinnSam – National resource library for gender studies at the Gothenburg University Library – Website in Swedish and English

In 2009 it was 150 years since the start of the periodical Tidskrift för hemmet (Home Journal). The aim of this website is, to make available Historical Swedish periodicals for women and its history. In the History section you can read about the emergence of publications for women in Europe and above all in Sweden (from the 18th up until the 20th century). The Biographies section portrays prominent women (and some men) who worked with the press. Both writers and editors are presented here.
