Der Workshop soll Frauen und andere unterrepräsentierten Gruppen von Wissenschafter:innen und Philosoph:innen sichtbar machen, die im Laufe der Geschichte prägend für die Philosophie, Wissenschaft bzw. die Wissenschaftsgeschichte waren und die in der bisherigen (Philosophie und Wissenschafts-)Geschichtsschreibung wenig bis gar keine Beachtung gefunden haben.
Die Veranstaltung strebt dabei eine epochenübergreifende Ausrichtung an, durch die es möglich wird, die Partizipation von Frauen und anderen unterrepräsentierten Gruppen in der Philosophie und Wissenschaftsgeschichte, die Herausforderungen und Möglichkeiten, mit denen sie in der Geschichte konfrontiert waren, im Spannungsfeld von linearer und dynamischer Betrachtungzu beleuchten.
Das eineinhalbtägige Kolloquium ist interdisziplinär angelegt. Diese Interdisziplinarität soll es ermöglichen, das Thema der Veranstaltung über die Fächergrenzen hinaus zu betrachten.

The workshop aims to make visible female and other underrepresented scientists and philosophers who have been formative for philosophy, science, or the history of science in the course of history and who have received little or no attention in the previous (philosophy and science) historiography.
The workshop strives for a cross-epochal orientation, through which it becomes possible to shed light on the participation of women and other underrepresented groups in the history of philosophy and science.
The one-and-a-half-day colloquium will be interdisciplinary, and this interdisciplinarity should make it possible to look at the event’s topic beyond the disciplines‘ boundaries.
Based on the idea „From Young Researchers For Young Researchers,“ the organizers want to create a stage for young researchers, i.e. philosophers and scientists in their master or dissertation phase. The presentation time will be 30 minutes, with a discussion afterwards.
