The Medieval Early Modern Institute is hosting its 4th Annual Graduate Student Colloquium December 6th and 7th at the University of Alberta. The interdisciplinary colloquium will conclude MEMI’s „2007: Year of Holy Women.
We hope that interested faculty and students alike will observe the colloquium proceedings, as well as attend the keynote address „Wholly Women?: Female Religious in Anglo-Saxon Literature and History“ by Professor Andy Orchard, Centre for Medieval Studies, University of Toronto, which will take place on Thursday, December 6th from 3:45-5:15 pm in the Telus Centre, Room 2-36. The Holy Women, Holy Places website has been updated to include the Conference Programme.
