ATHENA3, Advanced Thematic Network of Women’s Studies in Europe (Web)
ATHENA3 has brought together more than 100 institutes in the interdisciplinary field of Women’s and Gender Studies. The aim has been to unite scholars, teachers, and stakeholders from civil society and public institutions in the field of gender and diversity. The focus of ATHENA3 has been on education in the fields of humanities and social sciences with special attention to European cultures and European Citizenship.
During three years (2006-2009) of its activity, ATHENA3 has achieved and surpassed its targets.
